Portrait painting by Chris Dale of old woman at table eating dessert.
This hole is not the one that needs filling.

The photographer Chadwick Taylor took a series of images around America, its heartland dream. Unaware or unwilling to admit that it’s an illusion crated through movies and advertisements, deluding themselves of a sense of freedom, honour, and belonging. If you look from outside, there is no freedom; they are trapped in their own selves, repeating the same pattern, which is that revolutions are becoming shorter, almost appearing to be standing still.
